When You Wake Up On The Other Side
My family has recently lost several people within the span of a few months. They’ve all been very sudden and with no warning.
Which naturally, got me thinking about how this life isn’t permanent and each day is not promised.
Now as far as I know, they all knew Christ, so I can take comfort in the fact that when they woke up on the other side they got to run into His arms and are now at peace.
But there are so many people who do not know or accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and when that day comes it will be too late.
With the amount of proof there is about His life and existence, I truly do not understand how anyone could question this. Scientists have found matter that only lives in the ocean on mountaintops, people have died and come back and told about their encounters with Him, historians have connected the dots of His life, the Bible points to Jesus from the beginning to the end and not all of the authors were even alive at the same time…what more do you need?
In Luke, Jesus told a story of a rich man who was being tormented and wanted to go back and warn his brothers, ““But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’””
Some people have hardened their hearts so much that they refuse to listen to reason and believe in what could save them. Don’t be that person.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
That’s it. Believe in Him, allow His words and truth to change you, pick up your cross daily, FULLY repent, and stay focused on Him.
This world is a scary place and it’s only getting worse…but we know who wins.
““Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.””
Revelation 22:12-13
