The way this song has been on REPEAT?! I played it this morning as I worked out, I played it on the drive to work…I just constantly have it on my mind.

1 Chronicles 16:23 says

“Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.”

and Romans 12:2 says

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

‭‭If we aren’t constantly filling our minds with His word and with praise, it will leave space for temptation, depression and the enemy.

I’m not saying that I ONLY listen to gospel, but it is the majority of what I listen to, because I want to always remember God and what He has done for me. I want my random thoughts and the quiet moments to be full of praising Him.

If you’re struggling with secular music or unclean/dark thoughts…pray about it and then begin filling your head with gospel music (as well as the Bible), and try to be consistent. I have created a gospel playlist that I regularly listen to and it truly helps me.

Talk to Him, repent, ask for help and guidance and He will help you! I am proof of that!
