He Listens

I woke up this morning, thanked God for waking me up, and immediately hopped on Instagram.

I saw SEVERAL videos that scared me…about the government basically preparing to create a “new world order” and introduce fully digital means of conducting business…and if you’ve read Revelations then you know about the mark of the beast and not being able to buy or sell without it.

I got scared because even though I can’t wait to meet and hug and talk to and live in perfect peace with Jesus…it’s overwhelming to think about the ACTUAL end of the world.

So I closed Instagram and pulled out my Bible. I prayed that I would be given the strength to stand firm on His word and that I would not be deceived when that time comes, but that I would be able to endure to the end and be saved. I prayed for the Holy Spirit to show me something in the Bible to take away my fear and give me peace.

I immediately opened to 1 Peter.

1 Peter 1:13 says

‭‭“So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.”

I cried. I immediately got on my knees and praised Him for leading me there. I’ve read the entire Bible once, but I happened to grab my newer Bible where no verses were highlighted in Peter, so it was like I was reading it for the first time. He heard me and showed me exactly what I needed.

There will come a time when the antichrist is risen and forces people to either get the mark of the beast or be put to death. Please read your Bibles so you will know the truth about what is to come. Do not take the mark, it will be irreversible and you will not be saved. Focus on Jesus and your heavenly reward and pray that you will have the strength to endure.

God is real. His words are true and WILL come to pass.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We love You and we thank You for loving us. Thank You for dying for our sins and being our intercessor. Please give us Your strength so that we will remember Your words and promises. Help us to make the right decisions and not give in to temptation, but deliver us from evil. Your kingdom come, Your will be done.

In Your name I pray…Amen.
