Blogmas Day 16: Christmas Traditions

Ever since my daughter had her first Christmas, I dress her up in “corny” Christmas outfits, take a picture and line them up to see how she’s changed throughout each year. I have 10 years worth so far and I’m starting this tradition with my son as well. She’s getting to the age where she’s slightly annoyed by it 🤣 but I will keep it up as long as I’m here!! It’s super adorable and when she gets a bit older perhaps she will appreciate it lol

The only tradition my family had was opening one gift on Christmas Eve, but that honestly didn’t even last very long.

It is my intention to change this with my kids. I will do the pictures every Christmas and we decorate the tree.

I think it is important to pass down traditions because when I’m long gone, my kids will be able to look back and remember the good times they had with me, and they’ll hopefully do the same with their families.
