Do Not Be Afraid

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

We are living in scary times. It seems like we get a depressing news story every day now. How are we supposed to keep going as if nothing is going on…when the world is literally crumbling?

By having faith in the one who has overcome the world.

The amount of times I have to remind myself of this is astronomical. It can be hard to not focus on what is being pushed on us (and it is NOT normal to see people murdered on our phones) and what/who we know is coming (Christ).

John 16:33 says

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.””

‭‭This is when He is telling the disciples what will happen at the end of the age. I think we’re close yall. Nobody knows the time or the day, but there will be signs, and we see them accumulating every day.

I fully think God is waiting to give more people a chance to turn to Jesus and be saved.

Isaiah 45:22-23 says

“Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.””

‭‭Pray for your loved ones who are not saved, pray for the lives lost to senseless hate and violence, and look forward to the day Jesus returns and claims His bride!
